I love sports, be it professional approaches to improving strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination, a tasty and healthy/performance-enhancing diet, simply exercising - ideally in the fresh air -, coaching young athletes or strategies in team sports. The focus is on fun and the feeling of going through life in a healthy body.
I have been involved in competitive sports (especially swimming and lifesaving) for several years - as an athlete, as a coach for young athletes and on the board as the person responsible for the competitive sports department.
Today, I still train almost every day - preferably in the morning straight after getting up - but I don't pursue any competitive goals in order to focus on other areas of my life.

Learnings
- Abilities:
- Setting goals, time management, self-organisation
- Mentoring, empathy, team-management, event-organisation
- Understandings
- One can reach so much more than expected
- Training too much and for too long is not a good approach to long-term success. It is better to train regularly and sensibly and to recover sufficiently. Consistency key!
